Together, these pillars empower us to uplift entire communities, from Ogbunike, a town in the Oyi local government area of Anambra State, Nigeria, to other regions and beyond Nigeria, creating a ripple effect of progress and dignity for all.

Our Purpose

Here at GEFFoundation, our core purpose is to support children of all ages, teenagers, widows, and the wider community through practical initiatives that improve lives and create opportunity. We help by providing school fees, scholarships, youth apprenticeships, food bank support, and health projects. We also work with sickle cell society initiatives and amateur football clubs to strengthen wellbeing, inclusion, and community development.

Our Story

The GEFFoundation Story

The Goddy and Grace Efobi Family Foundation (GEFFoundation) was born out of a heartfelt desire to uplift the lives of the less privileged through education, financial support, and better health.

Founded in 2024 — with compassion as its root, purpose as its guide, and impact as its drive — the foundation was established in honour of Goddy and Grace Efobi, whose lives embodied integrity, generosity, and a deep commitment to community service. Their legacy of compassion continues to inspire our mission of breaking barriers and giving hope.

What began as a personal commitment to help children stay in school and families access basic healthcare has grown into a formal trust supporting communities through scholarships, financial aid, and health outreach programmes.

At its core, GEFFoundation exists to carry forward a legacy of hope, dignity, and empowerment — building stronger communities by investing in people.

of Our Work

Educational Advancement: We believe education is the cornerstone of opportunity. Our scholarship programs remove financial barriers, from exam fees to tuition, ensuring bright minds can pursue their academic dreams and unlock their potential.
Financial Empowerment: Economic independence is key to dignity. We provide seed funding, business grants, and financial literacy training to individuals and families, empowering them to build sustainable livelihoods and secure their futures.
